PARTICIPANTS

Carolina Rodriguez is currently studying Illustration with a concentration in Designmatters at Art Center College of Design . Her passion for and commitment to the environment and the welfare of it’s creatures has allowed her to work on projects that go beyond pure Illustration work.

She has spent time in Indonesia working with the Orangutan Foundation International as a documentarian and enrichment volunteer for orphaned orangutans and sun bears. Most recently, she has traveled to Bogotá, Colombia as part of Designmatters’ Safe Agua team. The team hopes to improve the quality of living in respects to water for the community of Altos del Pino.

One of her goals after graduation is to work within the environmental/social field as an illustrator, designer, and writer to better inform the public about rampant issues that sometimes go about unheard and not fully understood. She wants to continue developing her own visual language and hopes to create work that can be adopted into the campaigns for NGO and organizations like the OFI.
