PARTICIPANTS

Charlie Cannon is an Associate Professor of Industrial Design. In 1999 he co-founded the Innovation Studio at the Rhode Island School of Design to employ interdisciplinary collaboration, design thinking, social entrepreneurship and research to confront the most vexing issues of our day. Today the Innovation Studio is a laboratory for incubating new ideas to shift the attention of the design disciplines toward complex, present-day concerns, and to involve the larger public in the search for their solutions.

Charlie is also the Chief Design Officer at EPIC Decade, a Rhode Island-based strategy and innovation studio working on large-scale business and cultural transformation projects.
