PARTICIPANTS

Danny Alexander is a designer and entrepreneur working at the intersection of design, business and social innovation. He is a Senior Designer with IDEO.org, where he uses human-centered design to create solutions to the world’s most dire poverty-related challenges. His work has focused primarily on sanitation, financial inclusion and social enterprise across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

In addition to his work with IDEO.org, Danny is a partner at Who Gives A Crap, a philanthropic toilet paper company, and sits on the Board of Advisors of Design Impact and Digital Democracy.

Prior to his current roles, Danny founded Black and Blue Design in Argentina, co-founded Liga Masiva, and worked as a designer with Method and Catapult Design, and in eighth grade he pitched a no-hitter.
