Deirdre Cerminaro
IDEODeirdre Cerminaro is a Systems Designer at IDEO. Her interests sit at the intersection of design, business, behavior, and social innovation. Deirdre has an MBA from the Yale School of Management, where she led the Design & Innovation Club and co-founded the MBA Innovation Summit. Prior to business school, Deirdre worked as a designer and project manager at Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York City. Her work in the social sector includes a summer internship with the National Park Service; biking across the U.S. to raise money for Habitat for Humanity; teaching low-income students at Summerbridge Pittsburgh; and consulting to a non-profit in South Africa. Deirdre also helped build an annotated bibliography on Design and the Social Sector published on Design Observer. She has a BA in Cognitive Science from Yale University and is a StartingBloc Social Innovation Fellow.
