Krystina Castella has practiced as an industrial designer and educator for over twenty years. She is a Professor of Graduate Studies in Industrial Design at Art Center College of Design. Her professional seminar Invention Innovation has helped hundreds of individuals start businesses and license products. She is founder of the Design Entrepreneur Network a membership community for creative professionals.
 
For ten years, Krystina created an industrial design company that launched and internationally distributed more than seventy-five new products. Many products were self-manufactured; others were brought to market through licensing or partnerships with other companies. Her company produced diverse products including furniture, toys, clothing, stationery, housewares and soft goods. She distributed though high-end and mass-market retailers including Urban Outfitters, Crate and Barrel, Bed Bath and Beyond, Papyrus, and Target. The Museum of Modern Art, Fortune Magazine and Oprah Winfrey have all praised Krystina’s creative achievements.

Since 2000 she has worked as a consultant advising individuals and companies in industries ranging from medical equipment to artist collectable toys.
