Laura Dye
NikeLaura Dye believes design can change communities, organizations, and the world. In pursuit of this belief, she is exploring the intersection of two fields that value a human-centered approach to change—Design Thinking and Organization Development (OD). OD fuses organizational strategy, behavioral science, and systems thinking with the theory and practice of leading change. Laura is currently a Director of Design Operations at Nike where she works as part of a multi-disciplinary team that creates the optimal experience for Design by focusing on creative productivity. Prior to joining Nike, Laura worked as a Design Strategy Manager for Johnson & Johnson where she created new brand and product strategies and used design thinking to take a fresh look at the product development process. Laura earned her Bachelor’s in Industrial Design from Art Center College of Design and recently finished her Master’s in Organization Development from American University in Washington D.C.
