Steven Butler
Art Center College of DesignSteven Butler is a film student at Art Center College of Design, and also the Designmatters’ media manager and a key member of the department team. As a filmmaker, he is a versatile director/choreograper with a keen eye for detail and an easygoing personality that draws people in. He received his dance training from Oklahoma City University as well as, Edge Performing Arts Center in Hollywood, CA where he was awarded a full scholarship. Since then, he has worked on numerous projects as a dancer/choreographer. Some of his television and film credits include: Transformers 2 the Revenge of the Fallen, The Teen Choice Awards, The Latin Grammy’s, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Vibe Awards, Regis and Kelly, Weeds and Good Morning America. Steven has also had the pleasure of working with such recording artists as: Ludacris, Nick Carter, Aaron Carter, Olivia, and Macy Gray. In recent years, Steven turned his creative sights on writing/directing, studying film at the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena CA. He has already completed music videos for Randy Boyer, Kristina Sky, Cari Golden, Cameron Angeli, Quivver and Savannah Phillips and racked up screenwriting and directing accolades from Slamdance, The Addy Awards, The Telly Awards and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Blue Ribbon Panel.
